I am in the process of updating and moving the folders around in Fractal-Resources. I do hope that everyone in the group takes notices of these updates. I hope when I'm done that there are fewer folders.
If anyone has any input or questions, please ask away.

Fractal-Resources Mission Statement
Fractal-Resources is a place for all fractalist to find resources for every fractal generating program. We do not use the submission system for resources on DA, instead we collect and organize these resources in our favorites gallery then we provide regular updates on our journal for the newest resources. Everyone is invited to browse our Collections and find the resources they need to help them create fractal art. Fractal-Resources also publishes links to resources off of the DA website. Our goal is to be the one stop place to find what you need. Membership is open to anyone and we welcome both new and experienced fractal artists to join.
If you would like us to submit your resources for you, just note us.
To join Fractal-Resources simply add us to your watch list and click the Join Our Group icon on the front page. You may add a message for your membership, if you wish to.

In Memoriam: Light Ska Iktomi (suicidebysafetypin)
For those that do not know SuicideBySafetyPin (https://www.deviantart.com/suicidebysafetypin) passed away yesterday. She was a past CV for the fractal community and ran the The-Aposhack (https://www.deviantart.com/the-aposhack) group. She was very knowledgeable about creating fractals and left us with beautiful fractals. Her and phoenixkeyblack (https://www.deviantart.com/phoenixkeyblack) were the two people who came up with the word for our 'pong'.
There is a fundraiser for her mom to get up to Michigan from Arizona to help Light's family with end-of-life expenses since Light's death was unexpected. Light leaves behind five children which include a 1.4-year-old son. You can find the gofundme here: https://www.gofundme.com/help-pay-nikki-to-rest
I will post,
Great news for Apo users!
1) The ESSENTIAL PLUGIN PACK is just freshly released;
http://fav.me/dbo39ns
This is a fundamental resource if you have a 64 bit computer (and you should really have ;) ) because it contains the most important ones you need for render into your Apo x64.
(I also recently released an additional pack and also more x64 plugins are in my gallery.)
http://fav.me/dblov1m sry for the promotion tho ...
2) IFStile has been recently updated!
This program contains a huge load of very, VERY beautiful tilings (examples folder) that you can use in your Apo works (possibly crediting the program, since he gave them away for 0 money...).
It has the DIREC
Apophysis Plugins - Creating them in Visual Studio
Hey folks,
during the last week, I had C-91 (https://www.deviantart.com/c-91) around () and obviously, we did some fractal work together :w00t: During this, we needed to create some ad-hoc plugins to do the things we wanted to do. Well - not that it's something new for me because I kinda do this all the time but it gave me the idea that maybe I should write up how you actually create the plugins with x86 / x64 processor architecture support. I'm well aware that it's not very well documented so I try to fill this gap now with this little guide.
First off, I don't like to call it a "new" way to create plugins. You still create them with the same interface you had

Good luck with your housekeeping. I just got a note that a gradient pack I submitted wasn't a fractal resource. I deleted it from the scraps folder it got moved to from the gradients folder it was in. Would you like me to delete my other gradient packs?
